The village of Champery is on the Swiss side of the Portes du Soleil ski resort, and our Jack Frosts creche/kids club is situated in the centre of the village within the Palladium Sports Centre - just beside the Planachaux telecabine which is the main link to the skiing area.
Our facility was opened in 2007 to cater for the needs of families on skiing holiday, and we endeavour to provide a flexible service to fit around your skiing plans - leave the children with us for mornings or afternoons , a few days or the full week;
this can include meeting the children from ski school, or bringing them to meet you on the slopes
We operate on high staff/child ratios, as the children are in a new and unfamiliar environment, which may mean the wee ones in particular need more attention.
Nippers: For babies, toddlers and those too small to ski, we will endeavour to follow their usual routine, and complement their care with songs and stories, painting and playdough…
Plenty of time is spent, weather permitting, in the fresh mountain air. We have experience of caring for very small babies, and can take them from 3 months of age.
Frosties: For the older child, who will be spending some time skiing - we will collect them from ski school, have lunch, and then provide a lively afternoon with a mixture of crafts and music, cooking, face paints, and most important time to play in the snow. Our daily outdoor events include snow olympic's, sledging, and the ‘not to be missed' Yeti Hunt.
Snow Angels: We have staff with expertise in caring for children with special needs and learning difficulties
We can offer a one to one service, the experienced nanny will have the support of a registered nurses RNLD and RSCN and we have cared in the past for children with autism, Downs syndrome, epilepsy, global developmental delay. For Champery and Kids Club prices please click here:
