Our staff have always been our best resource - we search for people who have the essential qualities of professionalism, maturity and common sense, and just as importantly a desire to work with children. They have a happy and easy going disposition, and put having fun firmly on the agenda, while always place the safety and well being of your children foremost
Our staff come from a variety of backgrounds - early years, nursing, education, leisure. They may not all have a statutory qualification, although many do, but all will have at least 6 months in a formal childcare setting ie other than home babysitting.
We also facilitate some of our staff to undertake City and Guilds NVQ in Childcare, Learning and development. This level 3 qualification is operated in conjunction with Northern Regional College, Northern Ireland
Our selection process involves interview by one of the directors, 2 references - one from a referee who must know the nanny in a childcare situation, and a CRB enhanced disclosure.
We have staff in various parts of the UK, many of them will have spent a winter season working for Jack Frosts in the Alps, and all will have sound childcare experience.
