Our daily nanny service operates in Morzine/Avoriaz, Les Gets and St Jean d’Aulps within the Portes du Soleil resort area of the French Alps.

When you book a Jack Frosts nanny, our staff will come to your holiday residence fully equipped with toys and games.

We understand that parents want a flexible service to fit around their skiing plans, so we will create a package to meet your childcare requirements. This can include meeting the children from ski school, or bringing them to meet you on the slopes; we can care for them for mornings or afternoons, a few days or the full week.

We operate on high staff/child ratios, as the children are in a new and unfamiliar environment, which may mean the ‘wee ones’ in particular need more attention.

Our Child/staff ratio’s are:

Under 2yrs = 2 children : 1 nanny
2-4yrs = 3 children : 1 nanny
> 4yrs = 4 children : 1 nanny

Nippers

For babies, toddlers and those too small to ski, we will endeavour to follow their usual routine, and complement their care with songs and stories, painting and playdough… Plenty of time is spent, weather permitting, in the fresh mountain air. We have experience of caring for very small babies, and can take them from 3 months of age.

Frosties

For the older child, who will be spending some time skiing – we will collect them from ski school, have lunch, and then provide a lively afternoon with a mixture of crafts and music, cooking, face paints, and most important – time to play in the snow.

At least once a  week we have a Jack Frosts Event – perhaps Snow Olympics, or the perennial favourite – the Yeti Hunt; this event is planned for all the children we are caring for in resort to come along with their nanny to join in the fun.

Frosties Aides

We have staff with expertise in caring for children with special needs and learning difficulties.

We can offer a one to one service, the experienced nanny will have the support of registered nurses (RNLD and RSCN) and we have cared in the past for children with autism, Downs syndrome, epilepsy, global developmental delay.
