RESORT GUIDE
Morzine
Morzine dates back to the 1100s and became an alpine ski resort in the early 1900s with the construction of the Pleney Telecabine in 1934.
Located only 1h30mins from Geneva airport, Morzine is one of 12 resorts in the Portes du Soleil and has around 3000 inhabitants, but that number can grow to up to 25,000 in the winter! With temperatures ranging from -36°C (lowest recorded temperature) to an average of 25°C in summer.
With activities in winter including skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, dog sled, parapenting and ice skating to summer activities such as biking, hiking, white water rafting, swimming and the Fantasticable!
