Our Nannies
Our staff have always been our best resource
We search for people who have the essential qualities of professionalism, maturity and common sense, and just as importantly a desire to work with children. They have a happy and easy going disposition, and put having fun firmly on the agenda, while always place the safety and wellbeing of your children foremost.
Backgrounds
Our staff come from a variety of backgrounds – early years, nursing, education, leisure. They may not all have a statutory qualification, although many do, but all will have at least 6 months in a formal childcare setting i.e. other than home babysitting.
Selection Process
Our selection process involves interview by the Business Leader, a reference from someone who must know the nanny in a childcare situation, and a DBS enhanced disclosure and First Aid certification.
Training
Once in resort our staff undergo staff training, orientation to resort and a Paediatric first aid refresher course with focus on alpine conditions. During the season our staff are closely monitored and guided by our business leader who has over 10 years experience working with Children in the French Alps.
Special Needs
Our staff have experience working with children with special needs and dietary requirements and throughout the season are closely supported by our manager who is based in Morzine.
